OOPS Did We Take Your Money and Not do the Work? NAPA Autocare NonsenseSubmitted by David, Illinois Fall 2005 Here's a little story why I will never do business with Milex/NAPA Autocare center again. located at 1680 Theodore St. Crest Hill Il. There phone number is 815-741-0646. I was having a little car trouble and they told me I needed this and that you know how it goes. Well I let them do the work they said I needed done. After a couple days my car wasn’t better so I took it to another shop and low and behold they tell me I need the same parts that Milex said I needed. When I showed them work order from Milex with the work that they supposedly done they told me that those parts were never replaced and that I still had the originals. So now I'm mad! I go back to Milex and tell them my findings. At first they tried to tell me the work was done but after arguing and having the other shop backup my findings they admitted to never doing the work they promised and that I paid for. Believe it or not they wanted me to leave my car so they could now do the work. At this point I just wanted my money back. |
